Welcome to the JIB VI Fishing Boat of Captree State Park.

Sail from Captree State Park’s center dock on the JIB VI open party boat. The 65-foot JIB VI is spacious and comfortable with the latest in electronics, a large cabin with dinette and seating for 40, a full galley on board, and clean women’s and men’s accommodations. We offer special rates for kids and senior citizens with free rods, bait and tackle on all trips.

The JIB VI is the “feel-at-home” boat with over 20 years of experience at the helm and a crew that is friendly, courteous and experienced. The JIB VI is US Coast Guard certified and licensed. Climb on board one of the JIB VI’s three daily trips that run seven days a week. Reservations are not required. Join us as we fish for Blackfish, Porgy, Sea Bass, Fluke, Flounder, Weakfish, and Striped Bass. We accommodate all levels of fishing experience.

Absolute BEST fishing boat I have ever been on. I wish I could remember the mates name, but the tall blonde mate was AMAZING never had somebody so enthusiastic about filleting fish. Perfect and precise cuts! The ambiance was amazing and got nothing but good vibes on that fine fishing vessel. THE ONLY FISHING BOAT I WILL EVER GO ON AGAIN. Like great grandpappy tbld said a bad day fishing is better than a day at work! Thank you for the wonderful service and fine fishing Jib VI!!!

Went to Captree Boat basin with my son and his girl. Went to the JIB VI and was greeted by the friendly captain. The boat was clean and not overpacked. Has the best time especially since it was my sons girlfriends 1st time. The mate, Kurt was all over helping and was amazingly calm. Had a great catch and smooth voyage. Hats off to the boat & crew.
